The History

Established over a century ago (1900) the Finsbury Park Bowls club is one of the oldest bowls clubs in North-East London. It is older than its affiliated County Association (MCBA).

Match in the PastDuring its history there have been two players who played for England and several members have won county competitions, and have one representative honours at County level.

The club is affiliated to the EBA, ELBA, MCBA, MCLBA, TDBA, HDLBA, and NLTBA. All of these associations have their own competitions, so the options of playing bowls at all levels are there for players to choose for themselves.

The green is owned by the local council, but we have to maintain and look after the green ourselves. The green is one of the best park greens in the area.
